Global description of the project

Leopoldsburg test minefield

For phase I, a simulated minefield has been created in Leopoldsburg, Belgium. Anti-tank mines, anti-personnel mines and decoys have been used. Some are buried, others are on the ground. The positions of these mines, as well as positions of the decoys, have been measured.

SIC activity

SIC is involved in the image processing, registration and semi-automatic detection of mines. Some prelimary results are presented here.
